Not every individual or business has the knowledge, staff, or desire to oversee the construction manager that was hired for their project. It does sometimes become necessary to consider having an owner’s representative to serve a the liaison with the construction manager. This liaison acts on the behalf of the owner (client) to insure the best interests of the owner is maintained and the coordination of the owner’s responsibilities are met during the process. This allows the owner to continue normal business with the disruption that can come for an expansion or the construction of a new facility.
